The organisations wants to use the latest Social Media tool, say, Snapchat or Periscope, HR are looking for an advertising budget for social Ads (e.g. LinkedIn) and journalists are using staff postings as a base to investigate deeper stories. But who's talking about Risk? Compliance? P.R. have got a Crisis Comms plan but does it include reporting back to ASX? Do the Facebook Page comments by customers adhere to Regulations (ACCC, ASB?).
How about Big Data, how is that actually used in organisations using social media? Identifying risk and opportunities through "too much data". Is there a peer to peer marketplace that will impact procurement - the Airbnb or Uber or Zopa of your industry?
